How MIEBO made a dry eye difference for Zach
The lifestyle of baseball was being there every day at the field. Now my priority is my kid, my wife, and our family.
Baseball is still my life, just in a different way now.
When I was playing professionally, we'd train all morning, then practice in the afternoon, and then we'd play a game at nighttime.
I was constantly having to put in drops, constantly having to deal with all the wind, the air, the sun.
It would all really put a strain on my eyes.
They would feel super gritty and scratchy whenever I blinked. I can't tell you how many times I've tried lots of different over the counter eye drops, but they didn't give me relief. I finally saw an eye doctor and he said that my tears were just evaporating too fast.
That's the number one cause of dry eye, too much tear evaporation.
He recommended that I use MIEBO to help keep more of my own tears in my eyes, and honestly, it has made such a difference.
It felt like I was never having to worry about my eyes during the game again.
With MIEBO, I put the drops in and it makes my eyes feel a whole lot better and a whole lot more hydrated because I'm actually keeping my tears in.
It's such a good feeling even in the driest climate. It just feels so smooth and so soothing to my eyes. I'd even told a couple of my teammates who were having trouble dealing with the conditions in Arizona to talk to their eye doctors about MIEBO too.
Now I can focus less on how my eyes feel and more on training and using my experience to help other athletes try and break through to the major leagues.
My eyes are always on the go, and so for me to just put MIEBO in my eyes and not have to worry about it is one less thing I have to worry about throughout the day.
With MIEBO, I am no longer distracted by my gritty dry eyes. I can be focused on the future and on helping out where I'm needed.

INDICATION
MIEBO® (perfluorohexyloctane ophthalmic solution) is used to treat the signs and symptoms of dry eye disease.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
- Do not use if you are allergic to MIEBO
- Remove contact lenses before using MIEBO and wait for at least 30 minutes before reinserting
- It is important to use MIEBO exactly as prescribed
- It is not known if MIEBO is safe and effective in children under the age of 18
- In pivotal trials, the most common eye side effect seen in studies was blurred vision (1% to 3% of patients reported blurred vision and eye redness)
